Can I help? :P

Jun. 13, 2008 | 1:02 AM BasicsOfEDM responds:

Sure. :D Definitely with anything DnB related, since I'm completely useless in that area, don't know about endlessnumber, though he hasn't submitted anything under DnB...

We're planning to cover just about everything - elements of a song (drums, bass, lead, etc.), elements of making a song (synth creation, software/hardware, etc.), and probably more, so if you think you'd do well writing a certain topic or two just let us know. ;)

I've talked to endlessnumber, and his response is always the same: "I don't want to waste so much time making reeses and processing drums." And I can see where he's coming from, it takes OCD-like processing to do it.

I'm sure I'll be able to contribute in many areas, like mastering and mixing... and I'll also be able to edit and revise other articles. I was just waiting for something like this to come up! :D

Jun. 13, 2008 | 3:04 PM BasicsOfEDM responds:

I don't get why would he have to waste time doing that - it's just writing articles and he doesn't even have to write the articles about reeses or drum processing if we decide to write one (it would probably be you, as I can't say much there either).

Other than that, though, sounds good. ;)

Heh, endlessnumber wrote that article, it's one of the more helpful ones in my opinion. Thank him. :P

Haha, nice idea man!

Like Nav, i was wondering if i would be able to help out in certain genres, Preferably Electro House (Basically a sub genre (And more popular genre) of dance, and maybe posting my two pennies on DNB along side Nav.

Entirely up to you guys though!

Cheers :P

Aug. 7, 2008 | 6:02 PM BasicsOfEDM responds:

I've personally been considering a "Guest Writer" idea, something like a user would submit an article via PM for review, and then it would be posted depending on quality. I'll talk it over with endlessnumber.
